Seed Saving

There is less online than I would like, perhaps scope for an online TUE sub-project to get more info out there? We have Ashworth's book in the TUE library which, despite being US, is the most appropriate and encyclopedic I've encountered without getting into the heavier, techno, plant breeding tomes (which I haven't). Here's a brief summary of the book:

ISSI produce the best online guide I've seen:

A decent brief summary of seed saving from CSU:

An oddity but possibly a unique treasure! "Insect Pollination Of Cultivated Crop Plants":

Association Kokopelli also produce a detailed book on seed saving, TUE might consider buying since it's european and twice the size of Ashworth's?

This US site has some PDF documents which look useful I've read their 'Isolation Distance Guide' and it is good:

Some very good stuff here about germination, sowing seeds, less than I would like on seed saving though:

The Real Seed Catalogue, sells seeds - and I hope we will order from them, hurdle of minimum order £8 - and encourages seed saving. They send out seed saving details with all their seed - based on Ashworth's book, haha:

... methinks I should contact them sometime and perhaps spend a few weeks there learning and helping.

A couple of links to apparently the same stuff, I mention both in case one dies, basically an annotated linklist that is probably a good place to begin seeking links:

A few other less useful links to seed saving, swopping, selling:

There is a paucity of online seed saving info (as far as I can see), a very few practical books on it, and almost no courses (globally) to train people. Long live the seed growers and merchants, I hope. I would REALLY welcome someone who has an interest in this spending a couple of days ferreting out everything that can be found online. Is it really as limited as my cursory travels have revealed?
