Final version seed order for spring 2007
This is listed by supplier for ease of ordering which should make the process relatively quick. Links are given direct to the product where possible but several suppliers place multiple products on a page so you need to select the right one(s) from amongst them. I've taken into account postage charges in choosing where to buy / order size, so the list should be close to optimally tweaked for price.
Alan Romans - all seed £0.50, no postage charge on seeds as far as I can tell.

I would like a Max-Min Thermometer since It would be useful to monitor the weather (and, ideally, keep good records), I'd avoid the electronic ones that require batteries. Of the places we're ordering seeds Suttons are the only one which has stock and the price (£13.95) is reasonable. Might be worth checking the local garden centre first but I doubt it would be more than £1 cheaper for a decent one:

It may be worth getting other bits and pieces from them, such as:
Fleece 1.5m wide, probably worth getting 10m or 25m, the price is good at £0.60 per m for 10m
http://www.garden4less.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=52695
NOTE: if you get 25m of fleece and the above seeds you will just exceed the £25 for free delivery so I would do that unless...
They also sell Chimenea at what look decent prices, dunno if you need one for the big yurt

Lidl have a decent selection of very cheap (£0.29 and £0.59) seeds, I've used quite a few of theirs in last couple of years and they have done pretty well for me. I've bought all I think necessary but if you find any of the following onion seeds there next time you visit it's worth getting 1 packet of each (I have 1 of each already) since they don't have too many seeds in a packet:
Onion 'Roja de Niort' approx 300 /£0.29
Onion 'Stuttgarter' approx 300 /£0.29
Onion 'Vertus' approx 300 /£0.29
